An interesting self promotional package!

A self promotional package is a away to define and promote yourself through different creative ways!
Anything that describes you as a designer, or whatever you are!
It would normally be given to clients as a thank you gift after working for them, or a way to show your work after doing an interview for a job! It can be a little thing that says a lot about you through color, design, and what you include in it!

This is a self promotional piece that I loved so much!!!
It’s for a photography company, it contains a usb with the logo printed on that the photographer could put the pictures in, a small kind of a folder that contains the actual photographs, and a box of candies added a a giveaway with a business card of the company along!

I find it gorgeous!! In terms of the idea, the colors, and simplicity yet attractiveness of the design!
It’s so clever that the products seem more like precious gifts! Love it!

Local product package: FINAL PACKAGE

This is a promotional package for local honey that will be sold at the annual UAE hertiage village. The goal was to promote the uniquely packaged product to grab people’s attention and interest for buying it; both local and and international buyers.

The brand story of my packaged product is that it’s a 100% natural honey brought from the mountains of the UAE, unlike others that were imported from other countries. It’s a laxurious and tasty pure Emarati Honey!

Those are some sketches of packages for my local product: Honey.
Afterwards, I started looking for die lines that suit my bottle and product, and trying them up!

My eco-friendly Package!

That’s the final outcome of my environmentally friendly package. It’s a package of the body shop’s product; a face wash that’s 100 percent organic and it helps reduce the harm on our environment!

Greener Ideas!

I researched for packages that are friendly to the our environment, those were the best two packages that I found interesting!

1st one: headphones packaging
So smart packaging idea that uses a cardboard as a material instead of plastics that harms our environment. It’s a brilliant idea for protecting the environment, and a great design for packaging headphones, it looks attractive & helpful at the same time!

2nd one: Two in one (hanger and a t-shirt package)
Another great idea for green packaging design. It’s so useful in so many ways, an amazing idea for protecting the environment! It actually serves as a package for t-shirts, and it can be transformed to a hanger for the product that’s inside, which is the t-shirt! Moreover, it’s so much easier when it comes to recycling!

 

Eco-friendly product package: work process!

Here is my work process for my first actual packaging design exercise, it’s going to be about a chosen environmentally friendly product. I have chosen a bodyshop’s product (face wash) that’s completely organic, 100%. Using such products will definitely reduce the use of chemicals that destroys our environment awfully!

Practice: creating packages

This is my first attempt at creating simple boxes by cutting specific die lines shown below. Some of them were a bit challenging but it was so much fun exploring the way packaging works!

This is what came out of that very first experience!

Interesting packages!

People get attracted mostly to the packaging of products. This one f the most attractive packaging designs, it’s so effective and different than the standard ones that we are accustomed to! They appear as shapes of some fruits such as orange, apple and watermelon for both, tissue boxes and juices!

Designers have a very strong power to grab customer’s interest with their skills and creativity ideas and how they apply them using illustration, color, typography and materials!

The last one is simply amazing! I loved it!
The designer have simulated the look, feel and texture of the fruit flavor contained inside the package, the design of the box is so simply yet so brilliant and creative!
